Me every day this week “Is it Friday?” stares at computer screen frozen. Today “Feels like it’s Saturday” I think I’ll work from bed and brainstorm.” •

This time last year I was gearing up to go to England & Spain for a month. I was scared to leave my day to day for so long, but desperate to go. •

It’s crazy how things work. Coincidentally, I purchased a vintage light from her a while back and as soon as we saw each other we realized we served together back in the day. Now she curates vintage pieces for my projects, keeps me looking snazzy with her amazing styling abilities, has directed me in photo shoots and jumped onboard to road trip to @thecaptainwhidbey to get her hands dirty on the install of Cabin 33. •

I’m often asked what my design style is and I stumble on this question every, single time. The reason, I don’t have one. I am inspired by the location, the client and their lifestyle. What makes them tick, this isn’t about me. •
•
I can tell you however without a doubt what fills up my creative soul is travel, nature, connection and new experiences. My recent trip to Alaska was full to the brim with all of these. It was proven, yet again, that it is not a certain style I have but rather the ability to soak in my surroundings, listen to my strong intuition and turn all of this into a design. •

It’s not about a style, it’s about a feeling. •
