There are lots of attractive homes out there. And of course - aesthetic matters. It’s simply not the only priority when designing a meaningful space.

Where aesthetic doesn’t fully fit the bill is when a space needs to be beautiful - and functional.

So how do we move past simply focusing on aesthetics in design? We dive deep into the details - and not just drawer pulls and poufs.

In the first apartment I bought, I bought all the furniture myself. It looked just a bit better than a dorm - but didn’t feel like a curated space. When I moved, I wanted to change everything - so I hired Kyla...and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to - beyond the furniture. She opened up new ways of looking at my vision and finding solutions to bring that vision to life that I never could have thought of. Kyla creates spaces that matter.

Feel fully at home, in your home.

Doing interior design differently means taking a you-first approach:

Fitting aesthetic to lifestyle - not lifestyle to aesthetic.

And we do it through a multi-layered information gathering process that helps us connect to your unique life and lifestyle to truly understand your needs, and how you want the space to work for you.

Then, we get to work.

Offering end-to-end, Full Service Interior Design and Project Management (with the option to add on a complete Turnkey service), through two key phases and a multitude of milestones, we turn your vision into a 3D reality, and infuse your story and lifestyle into every corner.

PHASE 1: Predesign + Project Development

Covering everything that happens before the build, Predesign + Project Development is where we refine our understanding of you, so we can design a space that serves you well.

KRC invests intentional time getting to know you - beyond the spaces and places you like or love. And, ample time building a team of creatives and contractors that do everything they can to make your project a pleasure - from beginning to end.

PHASE 2: Design, Refine + Team Tender

Where inspiration shifts into information, and ideas become crystallized into plans on paper. As the design solidifies and we make changes, revisions and adaptations are made based on your feedback and preferences.

And, we begin the tender process with the trades that will turn into our project partners; sourcing a group of professionals who can offer their talent, teamwork, quality craft and collaboration with confidence.

PHASE 3: Project Management + Client Advocacy

Going beyond the bounds of design, as things get moving on your site KRC shifts into Project Management mode. Acting as the point of contact for trades, and ensuring schedules and budgets stay on track, we become your advocate as progress is made and if problems arise.

We’re the check and balance team to make sure when you walk into the house for the first time, there are no surprises (other than the ones we intentionally leave for you).

Meaning you walk into a space that feels like you - and where you can feel fully at home.

Happiness in your home matters - now, more than ever.

Working through a process and approach that ensures you love your space and it works for your life means more joy in the seasons where staying home is the standard.

And, you can enjoy the process...every step of the way.

With a connected team that’s out to serve your best interest and solve for ways to keep your life at home functional, you’ll walk away with more than vendors in your phone...but friends.

Good things, and great homes, take time.

It may not happen fast. But it will happen well. And the feeling of being blown away by your space will be well worth the wait (the proof is in our portfolio).

If you’re ready to bring your vision to life, and excited to collaborate with an expert team of creatives to make it happen, then we’ve got some great work to do.
